Variable printing is a great tool we offer in which promo codes, personalization or copy/images can be updated dynamically during the printing process (and changed from one piece to the next). If you would like to use Dynamic Variable printing on your creative, you would just need to follow the steps below.
1. Upload your final creative as a print ready PDF
2. Next you will need to upload or send us a csv or xlsx file with all of your unique promo codes or any other data points that you would like applied to your mailers once we are ready to deploy
3. If using variable names or promo codes please use the following formats for any variable data
- Please use << >> surrounding the areas that will inevitably replaced by dynamic insertion
- Dear Mr or Ms <<Firstname>> <<Lastname>> or Promo Code <<XXXXXXXX>>
- Please embed the font, font size & font color you would like this to ultimately be printed in.
- Ensure that your design will support the length of the name or promo code. We recommend having enough space for names that are at least 14 characters long.
- And we recommend that you utilize as many “X”s that match to the amount of alphanumeric characters of your promo codes.
